There is also a placeholder option for building a screen layout when the final display setup is not physically connected.

Audio input preferences with automation options

Audio input behavior can be configured with modes that keep input disabled, always enabled, or automatically toggled based on video playback and linked video inputs. You can also choose an audio source from available inputs, including audio-only interfaces.
